i am new to this blogging thing and i just don't know what to do but i imagine the thing to do is type. so i will type and type and type. i should probably tell you stories about me and my friends or to talk about all my problems but i won't. i will just type and do whatever i want because i can

OMG!!!!!!!

i am freaking out see i have been checking my stats on my blog and as it turns out SOMEONE FROM RUSSIA CHECKED OUT MY BLOG!!!!!!!!! This is huge for me i mean think about it my influence is spreading through out the world. So my russian friend if you ever stop by again comment and follow me.

The "Playful Side Of Math"

My teacher (Go Mrs. Lenfestey) ask me to read a column by Steven Strogatz expressing his views on math and it's two sides: the "Serious Side" and the "Playful Side" (Insert joke here). His definition of the "Serious Side" is the math we do everyday from basic addition and subtraction to things like figuring taxes. His definition on the "Playful Side" is different see he thinks of the "Playful Side" as when you try to find different ways to solve the same problem. What does all this mean all this "Playful Side" "Serious Side" stuff well it means MATH IS FUN SO DO AN ALGEBRA EQUATION.
